Peter Hughes is an artist that makes social comment on current events. The enthusiastic documentation occurs on canvas, sculptures and pots. Peter has the ability to capture his environment with heightened senses, his use of colour and his illustration ability is applied with a freedom that most artists spend years trying to achieve. Peter is supremely confident with his bold treatment of colour reflecting exactly what is happening in his world.
