VERGE, National Ceramics conference July 2006

Brisbane was the host city for the national ceramics conference, Verge2006. The focus of this conference was sustainability. And Monte Lupo was asked to present a paper on the success of the business as we have been operating for 13 years now. Monte lupo was a case study for the conference as the business is a unique blend of service, support and product.
Verge also presented the opportunity for our artists to participate in Di-Verge an exhibiton highlighting the possibilities people with disabilities can use the ceramic medium to communicate personal narrative. This exhibition was in conjunction with the Access Arts organization as well as the Tanpopo ne, a disabilities service provider from Japan. They also have strong ceramic focus within the services they provide.
