The opportunity

As a Service Manager you will be leading operational teams, and creating opportunities whilst ensuring services reflect customer needs, the organisation’s core purpose, and deliver agreed outcomes for customers, their families and the organisation. Other duties include:

  • Ensuring the services are managed in alignment to Multicap’s Vision, Strategic Priorities, and customer need
  • Providing influential leadership, direction and supports to Team Leaders and Support Staff
  • Establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, enhancing the customer’s experience of Multicap services and providing opportunity for improved brand awareness
  • Leading and developing a team to ensure that service delivery and service expansion remains individually focused.

What you bring

  • Experience in providing services for people with disabilities, particularly those with high or complex needs (minimum 2 years desirable)

  • Experience in staff leadership and performance, including assessing recruitment needs, planning employment development plans, and performance management
  • Experience in developing Person-Centered-Plans within a positive behaviour framework
  • Knowledge of legislation and safe work practices, and a commitment to policies and procedures
  • Financial acumen and the ability to manage within a prescribed budget and provide advocacy where needed
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of software and systems
  • Ability to prioritise a workload, and respond to emerging situations and appropriate

We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead our dynamic Brisbane North team. This full-time role (38 hours per week) presents an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to improve service delivery in an established region while building new service offerings. About you

This role will suit a skilled and experienced business manager who can balance enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and their families with business efficiency, profitability and growth.

If you are resilient, like working with autonomy while leading a team and can build relationships internally and externally to the organisation to benefit your team and customers you will be a great success in this role. The introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme which is very exciting for our customers does require you to be able to manage in an ambiguous environment and be responsive to market changes. Your skills in being able to prioritise work and accept that sometimes we cannot do everything will ensure you remain motivated and allow you to make the right decisions on what to do and what to leave.

You will be a strong leader and bring exceptional experience and skills to the role which will result in your direct reports looking to you for coaching and guidance. The development of your team will be rewarding but needs to be balanced within organisational priorities.

Your new role

Your new role:

We are currently seeking an Administration Officer to be responsible for a range of duties and administrative tasks associated with the smooth running of Multicap's Disability Services. Reporting to the Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry activities to ensure service compliance and reporting requirements are adhered to.
  • Enhancement of customer experience through the provision of helpful and timely responses to general enquiries, customer/family requests and other reception activities.
  • Monitor and maintain the physical environment of the office and meeting rooms.
  • Distribute the staff casual list and ensure on-call data is collected, collated and distributed.
  • Complete data entry of WH&S forms and provide reports to the Risk Advisor on a monthly basis.
  • Provide reception cover.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years’ experience in administration or similar role and will be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.  The successful applicant will also have the ability to multi-task and prioritise work appropriately, whilst maintaining strong customer service. Importantly, having a positive attitude towards people with disabilities is a must for all candidates and if successful you will adhere to Multicap's values, code of conduct and health and safety workplace requirements.
