Exhibition inspired by Monet

Monte Lupo artists have been inspired by the works of Monet for their latest exhibition.

Titled Monte's Garden, the exhibition features ceramic water lilies, lotus and other pieces inspired by the paintings of French impressionist Claude Monet.

Multicap's General Manager of Creative Arts Fiona Haynes said the work was ‘stunning’.

“It brings a lot of peace in my head when I look at the work - water lilies, water bridges - it is really peaceful work,” she said.

“It is also really beautiful, the tea sets with a touch of gold on or the wind chimes. It just makes me want to stop and take in the peacefulness of the work.”

The exhibition is being held on the Sunshine Coast at Art Nuvo. Of the 96 pieces in the exhibition, more than 35 were sold on the first day.

All of the work can be found and purchased online at www.artnuvobuderim.com.au

Art Nuvo is located at 25 Gloucester Rd, Buderim.
