New Chair for Multicap Board
25 January 2021
Leading disability support service Multicap has announced the appointment of a new Chair to its Board. Ms Angela Tillmanns will assume the role of Chair from 1 February 2021, with current Chair Mr John Gallimore moving into the Deputy Chair role to ensure a smooth transition of leadership for the organisation.

Multicap secures $1 million federal government grant to deliver disability housing for Central Queensland

People living with disability in Central Queensland will have additional access to specialist affordable, accessible, high quality housing, with local support provider Multicap securing a grant of almost $1 million through the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund.

It is with great sadness that the Multicap Board of Directors and staff learn of the passing of one of their founders, Mr. Glen Easlea. Long acknowledged as one of five families responsible for the creation of what is now known as Multicap, Mr Easlea and his late wife, Gwen, worked tirelessly as part of a small and committed group of people to create The Multiple Handicapped Association of Queensland - Queensland’s first service for children with multiple disabilities.
