We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Administration Assistant to support our busy Marketing and Communication Team based in Brisbane's Eight Mile Plains.

Your new role

Our successful applicant will be responsible providing administrative and support to the Marketing and Communication Team that ensures the smooth running of all Multicap and Communications, Events, Volunteers, and Fundraising; with other primary duties including:

  • Attending various Multicap events to support Marketing and Communication outcomes
  • Generating reports to inform management and the board, organising thank you letters or certificates, and liaising with suppliers and maintaining all relevant databases.
  • Prepare and edit documents, including letters, digital photographs, email communications, spreadsheets, and other documents as required.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of new product launches, brand activities and promotions

We are currently seeking an experienced Support Planning Coordinator who will focus on the development of individualised client service plans within our Specialist Services team based within our Mackay region.

Your new role

This highly independent full-time Support Planning Coordinator will develop individualised client service plans Support Plans to support persons with a disability.

You will be required to provide advice, guidance and support to Multicap Services in the Mackay region. In the creation of our support plans, you will ensure that the customer's aspirations and goals are clearly captured and tangibly linked to the service and supports delivered

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing in partnership with all key stakeholders service plans for individuals accessing Multicap activities in accordance with their assessed needs.
  • Providing support to individuals, family members and other stakeholders to ensure that planning processes are fully consultative and responsive to views and aspirations of key decision makers.
  • Providing advice, guidance and support to staff teams to ensure that individuals, particularly those with complex needs have plans that are effective, current and reviewed appropriately
  • Supporting monitoring of current service plans for Multicap customers, their families and staff as required
  • Supporting the work of the organization through training and/or other means to develop and maintain on-going best practice in individual planning processes
  • Developing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships with staff, internal groups and external bodies to establish viable interactive partnerships

This role will require a high level of autonomy, attention to detail and the ability to encourage interaction and discussion with a variety of internal stakeholders.

What you bring

To be considered for the position, you will ideally have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a high functioning team and be able to work flexibly on a range of projects, including:

  • Qualifications in human services or social sciences or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Possession and demonstration of sound disability (or allied health/welfare/education field) experience, knowledge and/or training relevant to the position
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating the provision of support to people with a disability and their families
  • Knowledge of the State Disability Services Act and the 2008 Amendment relating to restrictive practices
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal  and communication skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders and deal with issues of a sensitive nature
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
  • Understanding of positive behaviour support frameworks

About you

This role will suit a skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer who can balance the management and support of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation functions.

Your new role

Reporting to the CFO and having strong working relationships with the Finance Team's accountants, our customer focused successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals that maintain responsibility for functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation. Other primary duties will include:

  • Actively create and support an environment that promotes open communication, continuous business improvement, training and skill development

Your new role

You will be responsible for growing and improving Multicap’s media presence through carefully planned and implemented PR and media strategies, together with writing compelling and meaningful content for a broad range of platforms and publications

Working within the Marketing and Communications team and reporting to the Chief Integration Officer, you will develop strategies to grow the level of Multicap’s media engagement from local, state and national media, and increase our digital and social media reach. In addition to driving increased media coverage and positive PR for the organisation, you will also manage website and social media to drive engagement with a variety of key stakeholders.

Key components of the role include:

  • Pursuing all potential media stories and leads
  • Actively promoting high-quality PR
  • Liaising with stakeholders for events and media opportunities
  • Monitoring and reporting on media coverage
  • Developing and successfully implementing strategies to grow your area of the business
  • Create copy and written content for Multicap collateral and events to promote the organization's efforts to a wider audience
  • Produce content for a variety of internal and external publications and communications

You will work closely with colleagues from all areas of the business, with customers and their families, with media representatives, and with senior executive members of the organisation, and will need to work well under pressure with accuracy in meeting deadlines and achieving targets.

What you bring

To be considered for the position, you will ideally have demonstrated knowledge and application of the principles and objectives of the QLD Disability Services Act 2006 and the Disability Service Standards. You will also demonstrate:

  • Skills supporting and caring for adolescents and adults with disabilities and complex support needs eg challenging behaviours
  • Ability and skill to work within a Lifestyle Planning Process for persons with an intellectual disability
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively within a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergency situations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • A proven ability to multi-task
  • A roadworthy vehicle and be in possession of an open or provisional (P2) drivers licence

We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Integration Officer to support our busy Systems Team based within our head office at Eight Mile Plains.

Your new role

You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate flow of data between Multicap systems through driving database management, integration and report development.

Key components of the role include:

  • Working with the systems integration team to understand data and reporting requirements
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Proactively identify process or technology improvements and "own" your journey into the standard way of working
  • Maintain test and development versions of each database in conjunction with the Applications Support Officer
  • Monitor the quality of the data exported from the database to third party software (including Payroll, Invoicing and Statutory Reporting)
  • Investigate integration requirements and analyse functional/technical incidents
  • Develop test cases for Applications Support Officer for testing integration work prior to promoting software patches and upgrades to production environment

What you bring

To be considered for the position, you will ideally have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a high functioning team and be able to work flexibly on a range of projects across media relations and communication, including:

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience in database management
  • Strong analysitlcal skills of writing SQL queries
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Awareness of Data Warehousing design (desirable)
  • Previous experience in SSRS (desirable)

Your new role

Our successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and assisting persons with a disability in their living and/or community environment. Other primary duties will include:

We are currently seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to support our busy North Coast Team based in Petrie.

Your new role

Our successful applicant will be responsible providing a range of duties and administrative tasks aimed at supporting and assisting persons with a disability in their living and/or community environment, with other primary duties including:

  • Administration and clerical duties that contribute to the successful day to day operations of the service
  • Enhancing customer service experience through the provision of helpful and timely response to all general enquiries, client/family requests and other service reception activities.
  • Prepare and edit documents, including letters, digital photographs, email communications, spreadsheets, and other documents as required.
  • Coordination of service assets to provide for their efficient usage, maintenance and serviceability, aligning with contemporary service requirements.

The position is a part time permanent role, encompassing 38hrs per fortnight.
